For beginner heli ski and riding groups, there are intermediate terrain which typically makes it easy for the first time heli skier and rider to enjoy the backcountry. It is also great for more experienced, but budget conscious skiers and riders. A half day of helicopter skiing and riding includes 3 runs per person. Each run typically ranges from approximately 1,000 to 3,000 vertical feet of legendary Idaho powder. Guests are provided with state of the art Mammut S avalanche transceivers and Mammut avalanche airbags. A daily safety briefing is provided to guests to familiarize them with the helicopter, terrain, equipment and other protocols. The terrain accommodates intermediate and advanced skiers and riders.
